CARDINAL UPPERCUT Diamond Blade Selection Guide For Sawing Green Concrete Note: When selecting the correct blade specification the EE-1 is the fastest cutting for any aggregate.
As you go up the scale to EE-4, EE-6, and EE-8 the blade speed will decrease but the life of the blade will increase dramatically. For example, the EE-8 specification would be recommended for cutting soft aggregates such as limestone with the lowest unit blade cost. If you want to avoid blade changing, use either EE-2 or EE-4, these specifications will cut practically any aggregate. Also remember as diamond blade bond hardness increases, (from EE-1 to EE-8), sharper sand is required to avoid
significant loss of cutting speed.
